The Meeting Place which started in June 2011 takes place every Wednesday and has become the core of the Well’s work. Occasionally, there are specific activities such as First Aid training or Computer Skills courses supplied by Bucks Adult Learning.
Regular activities include a group exploring Art as Therapy and a Quilting Group. The Quilting Group has exchanged ideas with a similar group in Burnham’s twinned village of St Denis de l’Hotel, France and makes a Community Quilt each year to auction at the Well Summer Ball to raise funds. Art as Therapy are working towards holding an exhibition of local art in the Autumn of 2014.
The Meeting Place also enjoys fortnightly visits from Thames Valley Police, monthly visits from Parish Councillors and local Housing Associations.
